UA Foundations Online Program

The UA Foundations Online Program is designed for new and existing UA members to learn more about the organization they are a part of. This program provides insight to the world of trade unions, the structure of the UA and its core values. It will touch on the history and heritage of the United Association including labour history in North America. Participants will also learn about the benefits of a union membership, the importance of training, mentorship, and the apprenticeship process in Canada. UA Foundations will also cover the significance of diversity management and introduce participants to financial literacy for construction trades workers.
